Update !

I have been so busy with my spring semester and so much has been going on my life. I miss blogging I really do and plan to get back on it  regularly once my semester is over (3 weeks left). Anyways I have done some major changes to my hair and when I say major I mean it. I decided to change my hair color once again! I know very damaging ands that not even the bad part I decided to also bleach my hair. Biggest hair mistake I have ever done. I always sworn to myself that I would never bleach my hair but felt like I had no choice to (Which I did). So now my hair color is a color that I really don’t like and now I want to change it again! But no time soon my hair really needs a break. So with the damage that I done to my hair I had upper the intake of protein to my hair. Thinking about doing a light protein twice a week then the regular once a week. Going to use of course Aphogee 2 Min for this since it is my favorite light protein that I have come across. Yesterday was wash day and I decided to do a heavy protein treatment. I used Nexxus Emergence which had done a good enough job. I want to continue with that every two weeks as it says on the bottle but I am nervous being that I am going to do a light protein treatment twice a week. I don’t want to go in Protein overload and cause more breakage. Another thing that I notice about my hair is that my curl pattern has been alter. I’m not sure if its because of the color or because it has heat damage but my curls are basically gone and I’m not planning on doing no big chop either. I’ll try to nurture my hair as much as I can and trim my ends regularly. This may take a really long time but to get rid of the damage this is what I’m planning to do. But enough of the bad news. I do have good news I believe I am back to bra strap length. Wish I would had taken the pictures after I had done my color to show the length and color of my hair but I wasn’t thinking about my blog. But once I get my hair straighten again I would take some pics of my hair.
I’m still learning about my hair and I do wash my hair weekly, don’t have a set regimen yet. I have been slacking in M&S but I baggy to make up for that. I do use heat on my hair regularly but since summer is close by I hope to become good at wash n go’s. But I don’t think it would come out right being that my hair doesn’t curl up anymore. I’ll have to take pics of that and hopefully someone would let me know what I can do. I plan to blog more but not as often until my this semester Is done with.

Am I Protein Sensitive ?

I had recently purchased Aphogee 2 Minute Reconstructor and The Keratin & Green Tea leave in. I felt that my hair was in desperate need of some protein being that it was breaking a lot and because I thought my hair was going through moisture overload. Every time I washed it, my hair will feel way to mushy and soft. So today I decided to try the products and my results weren’t so good. This is what I did :
Shampoo with my Neutrogena Triple Moisture & then condition with the Aphogee conditioner. On the bottle it says to either leave it on for 2 or 5 minutes. I don’t know how long I left it in being that I was in the shower, but I do know that I didn’t leave in on for long because I didn’t know the time and I was to nervous having this product in my hair. I want to say it had to be at least 4 minutes that it was in my hair. Once I rinsed it out my hair felt AMAZING! My hair felt so strong and thick. I was just blown away at how good my hair felt. Usually my hair feels like mush an…

So I Made Waist Length

I made my long term goal! I'm finally waist length. I have been on a hair journey for a very long time and through so many trial and errors I found what helped me. My growth has definitely come from protective styling. I'm either doing a sew in and if not that my hair was always in a bun. Also having a simple hair routine is key! Not only that but keeping up with my ends. I plan to get my ends lightly trimmed but the only person I trust is so far from me but very soon I will get one. I might try to do a new hair goal of hip length but honestly not sure having long hair can kind of be annoying, but I'm not complaining I love my current length.
