Wash Day

I had a really REALLY good wash day today. Something I haven't had in a really long time. The results I received were amazing. I had recently purchased two new products and ended up using them both. They were the Proclaim Argan Oil Intense Hydrating Masque and the L'oreal Power Moisture Conditioner.

I started off with a clarifying shampoo because I needed to remove alot of build up that I had accumulated in the past weeks. I had decided on using a sample that I had from Miss Jessie it was called Sudsy Slip I think? But it was really good hair didn't feel dried out after using but I prefer the ORS Aloe Shampoo

I had then followed up with the Proclaim hair masque for an hour and a half. I used my Hair Therapy to get a good deep conditioning. My thoughts..Eh once it was rinsed out I had to follow up with a conditioner. Not that it was bad but I needed some slip to help detangle my hair

I then decided to use the L'oreal conditioner and as soon as I applied my tangles had melted away. The conditioner left my hair feeling so moisturized and soft it was great!

I T-shirt dried for about 15 minutes and then put in Garnier Fructis Leave in Conditioner that made everything even better!!!

Once my hair was about 85% dried I did not feel the need to moisturize my hair because it was feeling soft and moisturized but I decided to do so anyway. I did the L.O.C method something I have been trying lately
L = Water
O = Grape Seed Oil
C = Shea Moisture Curl Milk

Flat twist and off too bed with a smile finally !

Umm, Hey ?!

I  have not written a post in over a few months now & I feel a little okay about it. I just was not in the mood to really write about hair. It just started to become repetitive & a little boring to me. Don't get me wrong I still plan on documenting my hair journey & I still enjoy everything hair related. It was just a moment for me that I was kind of over it. I have been enjoying my hair length & been using heat a little too much, but that's okay. I mean isn't that the point of reaching your goal length, to enjoy it in whatever way you want? Well I definitely did & now it's time to get back to my normal hair routine. I still have a long term goal I want to achieve. So let's see where I go from here. This is my small space on the internet & I don't plan on abandoning it any time soon.

Hair Length Check In

I can not believe how far my hair has come. My hair has been in a protective for half the year, which was a sew-in. I did not have a sew in for the summer I gave my hair a break. I am currently debating if I should get another sew in for the colder months that is coming but I am not sure. My hair feels fuller & thicker. I was even asked if I had a weave in lol. Here is my current length. Am I Mid-Back length ? This picture was taken in Oct/13  Here is my current length as of Oct/14

Giving Weave A Try | Update

I have been thinking about changing my hair a lot recently from the color to deciding if I want to relax it. I just been bored with my hair and I have been trying to do as many natural styles but its either I can't do it, doesn't come out right or it doesn't look right on me. I don't want to manipulate my hair anymore. I'm done with experimenting with color on my own hair and I don't want to continue putting heat on my hair just to cause damage. Soooooo I been thinking about trying out weave? I been looking into it for awhile but now I'm doing my research on it. I don't see any harm in getting weaves what so ever. I can color it and put heat on it I can also pick different textures. Only thing that's holding me back is that awkward feeling of people knowing your actual length and then the next day your hair is down your back lol. But I can get over it I think. This would be a great protective style and I'm hoping it can last for at least 3 months...
