I enjoyed my wash day today it went great and I didn't have a lot of breakage, surprisingly . Lets not get ahead of my self though.
1. Hot oil treatment with JBCO on my scalp and grapeseed oil along the lengths of my hair for 30 minutes exactly with heat
2. Then shampoo my hair with Shea Moisture Retention Shampoo
3. Condition with HE Honey I'm Strong
4. Followed up with my Bee Mine Beautiful Deep Conditioner for 30 with heats and 25 without
5. Apply leaves in
6. Style in twist
When I had condition my hair with the HE my hair didn't react very well to it. I know it's not a protein conditioner but I don't know what it is that it doesn't give my hair any slip or moisture. I'm about to stop using this brand as a rinse out conditioner it does nothing, but it does make my "new growth" feel great (different topic)
Next part was deep conditioning my hair and omg you wouldn't even believe what had happen! Once I was done applying the deep conditioner I had thought that I closed the jar so when I went to grab it from the top it had fell ! I lost half a tub full of it omg I was so upset lol. But whatever it's funny now . Anyway this is my second time using this deep conditioner. The first time I didn't experience the result I had received today. The first time I had used it I had t shirt dried my hair to damp I have been doing this because they say its best to absorb the water in low porosity hair before applying products correct me if I'm wrong though. I have been doing this with all my deep conditioning treatments idk. Also the last time I didn't use heat either. This time around I applied the deep conditioner to wet hair and deep condition for 30mins with heat plus more without. Results = amaze balls ! My hair was easy to detangle (finger detangle) roots were soft and I was able to glide fingers through it. My hair felt awesome! I'm going to keep trying this deep conditioner before I make my final decision on it. Can't believe I lost half a tub full of this (rolls eyes) lols..
I then applied my leave in. On one section I used the Aussie split end mender and the other half section I tried out the Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner. Think I prefer this over the Aussie simply because it doesn't have any cones. When I apply the Aussie I can feel that there was something on my hair compared to the Shea Moisture conditioner where it makes my hair feel just okay. I really don't like this conditioner but just need to use it up. Next I would be looking into some leave in conditioners.
After that I twisted my hair and went off to bed .

Sounds like a good wash day!
ReplyDeleteHow annoying about the deep conditioner

xx
Yeah it went pretty good compared to others and I know! Lol can't believe it and the deep conditioner is pricy too
DeleteThe Bee Mine is definitely best with heat. Girl, I would have tried scooping up every piece of it off the floor! Well, she sometimes has Mother's Day sales, so be on the look out!
ReplyDeleteLol it was horrible. Hopefully I love the d/c enough to purchase again when that sales comes around. But so far it has been good to my hair. It has been 3 days since wash day and my hair still feels great. Really feel it was the deep conditioner that made a big difference.
