Hair Thought’s ;

Since I had introduced my hair to Aphogee products which were the 2 Minute Reconstructor & Keratin & Green Tea Spray, my hair has seen a great decrease in hair breakage. I have been suffering from sever hair breakage for so long that seeing less hair in the comb, on the floor and around the sink just feels so great. All my hair needed was some protein and I’m glad I finally figure it out. I’m going to alternate between protein and moisture so that my hair can be balanced out, but I’m going to give it a large amount of protein since I never gave it protein before. But going to be careful with it so that I won’t go into protein overload. Lately I been thinking about straightening my hair but I’m against putting any hit on my hair for this whole month. I like my curly hair but I prefer my straight hair better. I know getting a relaxer will turn out great for me because I like the bone straight hair and I can achieve those results with a relaxer compared to my natural hair which I will have to add so much extra heat to get it straight. Not good. As for how my hair color process went I think it went pretty ok. I had used the 2 minute 3 days prior from coloring my hair and then the day of coloring my hair I followed up with it again. I didn’t experience that much hair breakage I was so surprised because before when I had colored my hair at home I would have SO MUCH hair breakage it was ridiculous! But this time it was very very little. I don’t think my hair took the color well but that’s just what I think until I can get it straight I feel I won’t really know the results. Here how it looks though :SAM_1864

Hopefully you can see it not the best picture but I tried.

Umm, Hey ?!

I  have not written a post in over a few months now & I feel a little okay about it. I just was not in the mood to really write about hair. It just started to become repetitive & a little boring to me. Don't get me wrong I still plan on documenting my hair journey & I still enjoy everything hair related. It was just a moment for me that I was kind of over it. I have been enjoying my hair length & been using heat a little too much, but that's okay. I mean isn't that the point of reaching your goal length, to enjoy it in whatever way you want? Well I definitely did & now it's time to get back to my normal hair routine. I still have a long term goal I want to achieve. So let's see where I go from here. This is my small space on the internet & I don't plan on abandoning it any time soon.

Hair Length Check In

I can not believe how far my hair has come. My hair has been in a protective for half the year, which was a sew-in. I did not have a sew in for the summer I gave my hair a break. I am currently debating if I should get another sew in for the colder months that is coming but I am not sure. My hair feels fuller & thicker. I was even asked if I had a weave in lol. Here is my current length. Am I Mid-Back length ? This picture was taken in Oct/13  Here is my current length as of Oct/14

Giving Weave A Try | Update

I have been thinking about changing my hair a lot recently from the color to deciding if I want to relax it. I just been bored with my hair and I have been trying to do as many natural styles but its either I can't do it, doesn't come out right or it doesn't look right on me. I don't want to manipulate my hair anymore. I'm done with experimenting with color on my own hair and I don't want to continue putting heat on my hair just to cause damage. Soooooo I been thinking about trying out weave? I been looking into it for awhile but now I'm doing my research on it. I don't see any harm in getting weaves what so ever. I can color it and put heat on it I can also pick different textures. Only thing that's holding me back is that awkward feeling of people knowing your actual length and then the next day your hair is down your back lol. But I can get over it I think. This would be a great protective style and I'm hoping it can last for at least 3 months...
